Haylee Hunt is an Australian artist whose practice is based in the regional town of Ballarat, Victoria.

Her main art form is painting; in which she explores themes of grief, mental health issues, as wells as places of beloved memories, and important parts of her life. Photography is an integral part of her creative practice, which she uses to create both references for her artworks, as well as to explore themes regarding casual magic and parts of her everyday life, typically producing such artworks with film in both colour and black and white. Currently she has a focus on her painting practice; with an interest in creating a series consisting of buildings that she both finds beautiful and important to her. She also wants to further her film photography practice to insert as part of the series which she plans to develop over the coming year. Haylee is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Secondary Education alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Monash University, and has plans of being a high school art teacher.
